This book provides a great introduction to the approach and I very much enjoyed it. I found the chapters were logical and engaging. All of the core issues pertinent to the solution focused appraoch are considered, so it is well a thumb through.

An excellent book for the student SFT. It is very reader friendly and relevant. The exercises and personal reflections make the book very practical and an excellent resource.
This book presents a template for the use of SFBT skills - and does it very well. It uses the everyday language and experiences of practice which many will find very useful. There is no doubt that the text is furnished throughout with the authors own style, which is open and honest. The book is easy to follow, and its flow encourages the reader to journey through the process of the approach, rather than focus upon its individual specifics.

A specialised text that may not appeal to large numbers of undergraduate students of mental health nursing. It does provide very useful first hand insights into"managing" the therapeutic relationship.

I thought that this book was easy to read and understand and was just the right level for nursing students who may be interested in this approach and able to understand more about how this is applied in practice.
