The book also includes important topics such as Diversity and Difference to help identify unconscious bias. A further full chapter is dedicated to help tackle the stuckness associated with this as well as how to overcome general difficulties in the process of self-discovery.
The structure of this book is excellent, taking a student for preparing to write reflectively through different approaches and what to do with blocks. I really liked the chapter on Writing to Identify Prejudice, and used some of the approaches in lecture exploring unconscious bias. Highly recommended.
Reflective practice is a key part of the student's development.
