Kristina Buhagiar University of Malta, Malta

Kristina Buhagiar is a PhD candidate at The Edward de Bono Institute for the Design and Development of Thinking at The University of Malta, where she is specializing in innovation. Kristina’s research focuses on investigating how boutique hotels in Malta develop innovation through micro-foundation processes and organizational capabilities aimed at knowledge reconfiguration.

Kristina is also a visiting lecturer at the Edward de Bono Institute, where she lectures in creative thinking and innovation and ideas and entrepreneurship. As a Research Officer II at The Edward de Bono Institute, Kristina is also actively working on two EU projects, including project DIFME, which investigates the digital internationalization and financial literacy skills of micro-entrepreneurs and project ProBM2, which seeks to enhance the skills and knowledge of adult educators and training providers in teaching curricula related to business models.

Kristina has published an article on the Learning Organization and has performed numerous reviews for The Learning Organization and VINE The Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems.
