Amanda R. Champion Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Canada

Amanda R. Champion graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with Honors. Her honors thesis, Investigating the differences between sexters and non-sexters on attitudes, subjective norms, & risky sexual behaviours, was published in the Canadian Journal of Human Sexuality in 2015 and was also awarded the Canadian Psychological Association certificate of Academic Excellence. She volunteers as lab manager and research assistant in Dr. Cory Pedersen’s research lab at KPU; she appreciates the challenges involved in designing, implementing, and conducting research in human sexuality. She is interested in computer-mediated communication and relationship satisfaction, as well as the sexual assault experience among Canadian university women.
